New iPhone users or those who have updated the software on their phone recently will just be getting used to the latest rendition of Apple’s mobile device operating system.
Apple introduced many amazing additions to the software to really optimise people’s phone making the user experience more fluid and efficient.
But they also included some really annoying features that people just can’t wrap their heads around.
Some of you may think you are going crazy every time you look at your phone your Bluetooth is on when you thought you had switched it off.
One of the biggest improvements with iOS 11 is the customisable control centre, something users have been crying out for years.
However, it wouldn’t be Apple unless they added in some senseless unnecessary hidden trick, would it?
If you have indeed been turning off your Bluetooth from the handy button in the top left panel of the control centre then this is the root of your problem.
When you switch off the Bluetooth or Wifi via the device’s control panel you are actually just disconnecting any Bluetooth pairings or networks you are functioning with at that moment.
The Wifi and Bluetooth will still be active until you go into the Settings app on the device and switch off your Bluetooth or Wifi from there.
Every morning at 5am iOS11 also attempts to reconnect your device to all known devices, and hence you may notice some re-connection issues at this time each morning unless you have switched them off in the control centre.
To make sure you are not plagued by the sporadic appearance of the Bluetooth symbol then head to your settings app and switch it off properly.
