If sending selfies of yourself wearing a flower crown to your friends is getting boring, rejoice, for it would appear Snapchat has given its community a new filter to play with.
Those who want to jazz up their snaps can now add a dancing hot dog, the animation you never knew you needed, to scenes of their everyday lives.
This creation knows how to bust a move, as it’s been seen doing upside down hand spins and breakdancing.
Social media have taken to the hotdog instantly, posting numerous videos of the cartoon creature in various scenarios.
Wearing green headphones and a bun as a jacket, the frankfurter moves around to upbeat music before pulling off a unique stunt.
And it would appear its impressive skills and cheeky grin have won the hearts of Snapchat users everywhere.
Just as the standard Snapchat filters can detect the shape of your face before it smashes various effects onto it, the hot dog can find surfaces to throw shapes on, and can be pushed out of the way by real-life objects.
How can you get the hot dog for yourself, you ask? Flip the front camera on while you’re in the Snapchat app, then hold your finger down on the screen.
Once your face has been recognised, you’ll have all the filter options – so scroll through until you find the hot dog.
Then flip the camera back around, and you can do whatever you like with the break-dancing frankfurter.
You can make it bigger or smaller by pinching up and down on the screen, so if you fancy freaking your friends out with a picture of a giant sausage, feel free.
