If you’re shelling out for the iPhone X, then you’re in luck – you’re getting a shiny new ringtone to play with.

It’s pretty rare for Apple to include new ringtones on its phones, but the new tune is exclusive to its flagship device.

The ringtone is called Reflection, and it has a soothing twinkling sort of sound.

According to David Phelan from Forbes, Reflection is the default tone on the iPhone X.

‘It’s called Reflection and it sounds great,’ he wrote. ‘Because it’s new, I missed two or three calls before I realised I’d been listening to my own phone ring.

‘I mention this because it’s the default ringtone and so you might miss it, too.’

Missing calls doesn’t sound ideal, but the tune is pretty nice. You can listen to it through this tweet sent by iOS developer Guilherme Rambo.

And luckily for those of us without the new iPhone, someone on Reddit already made a downloadable version that can be installed on older iPhones or Android phones.

Most of us haven’t downloaded a ringtone since the days of the Nokia 3310, but the tune is so pleasant it may be worth the effort.

The iPhone X is launching tomorrow, November 3.
