Amazon Prime Day has begun, bringing with it a ton of deals across the board, whether you want a bargain on fashion, pets supplies, gaming or TV.
The third annual one-day flash sales event from the online retail giant will be offering thousands of deals over a 30 hour period for those who are signed up to the subscription service.
Users need to be signed up to Amazon Prime, the subscription service that gives access to unlimited one day delivery on a range of items, along with Prime Music, Prime Reading, Amazon Prime Video and early access to offers.
There are two types of deals – those that last all day, and Lightning deals, which are activated at a particular time, lasting until stock runs out.
What you need to know about Amazon Lightning Deals
On Prime Day, all Lightning Deals will be available exclusively to Amazon Prime customers.
Lightning deals are promotional discounts that are available for a very limited time.
All lightning deals will usually be available for only one hour or less.
The deal will no longer be available after the time runs out OR when all stock has been sold.
If the status bar shows that 100% of the stock has been claimed, you can choose ‘Join Waitlist’, as some customers may not have completed their purchase.
If you are on the Waitlist and the item becomes available again, you may still be able to claim the discount.
New deals will be released as often as every five minutes, so it’s worth staying on the ball throughout the day.
